Another quote from Butch

Well last night I came home and asked Dad if he wanted some of the great Taco Salad that Alice had sent home with me. He was already following me into the kitchen, but stated, "Nope, Im all full up," while patting his belly.

I said, "Are you sure??" He said, "Nope, Im all full up."

The next thing I hear is the freezer door and he is getting the ice cream out. So, I say, "Hey, I thought you said you were all full." He says...are you ready for this??

The one-and-only Butch Duecker says, "Oh-its okay, ice cream doesnt take up any room."

Yep, that's my dad!!! I had to quickly call Jared and tell him this story and his only reacation was, "Yep, that's your dad. Sounds just like something you would say."

I know I havent even written about my great trip to Lake Tahoe, but I had to jot this one down.

Tonight I asked Dad what he wanted for supper. And remember when I cook, it is a full meal (salad, meat, veggies, etc). He answered, "I didnt eat lunch, so I want a good supper, healthy. You know, like with a good salad. How about Gattis'?"

Healthy means Gattis', just in case anyone out there was wondering. Just ask Butch.
